HUNTSVILLE, AL — At AUSA Huntsville 2026, March 24–26, Skydyne is proud to showcase the latest evolution in our tactical equipment lineup: the R.E.C.O.N. (Rapidly Expandable Command Operations Node) series.
Formerly known as our Tactical Field Desks, the R.E.C.O.N. S1 and D2 models have undergone a strategic rebranding to better reflect their role as integrated command and control (C2) solutions. This shift comes as we continue to see growing interest from U.S. Military and Government agencies looking for more agile, tech-ready workstations.
Mobility meets integration
The R.E.C.O.N. series was designed with a focus on rapid mobility and C2-on-the-move. Each unit is built into a compact, ruggedized carrying case that is easily stowed for transit, yet deploys quickly into a fully functional workstation.
To meet the requirements of modern, high-tech environments, these units come equipped with a suite of integrated features, including:
- Integrated displays: High-quality monitors and visual cabling.
- Power management: Built-in power strips and designated cable routing.
- Connectivity: Options for either KVM switches or USB-C docking stations.
By integrating these components directly into the frame, the R.E.C.O.N. provides a “plug-and-play” solution that significantly reduces setup time in the field.
A small footprint for modern operations
As Tactical Operations Centers (TOCs) become smaller and more mobile, the demand for space-efficient equipment has never been higher. The R.E.C.O.N. series features a streamlined footprint, allowing it to fit seamlessly into the latest and most compact TOC configurations without sacrificing the workspace required for mission-critical tasks.
Collaboration in the field
During AUSA Huntsville 2026 (March 24–26), the R.E.C.O.N. — S1 is being featured in live demonstrations at the booths of our industry partners, UTS Systems and Weatherhaven Global Resources. These collaborations highlight how our hardware integrates into broader shelter and logistics systems to provide a complete operational environment.
We invite all attendees to visit these partner displays to see the R.E.C.O.N. — S1 in action and learn more about how Skydyne is supporting the next generation of deployable command operations.
